Aspire - Career Assistance for Elite Athletes

Introduction
TMP/Hudson Global Resources has partnered with the Australian Olympic Committee (AOC) to manage Aspire - Career Assistance for Olympians Program.

Previously called the Olympic Job Opportunities Program (OJOP), approximately 325 elite athletes/Olympians were placed from 1992-2000.The Aspire - Career Assistance for Olympians Program is now active following the very successful national launch in June.

A login and password is not necessary to access the site, everyone can access the information about the Program. Only if Athletes are interested in seeking employment assistance do they need to register their details on the site. Those athletes interested in seeking employment should contact Julia Saunders and the team at TMP/Hudson by phoning or sending their resume details through the website.

Julia Saunders is working with Judy Flanagan (National ACE Program Manager) to ensure a coordinated approach with each state/territory ACE Program in assisting elite athletes with their careers.

Eligibility
In order to provide a higher quality service, priority in career advice and employment opportunities will be directed towards -

A. - Olympians from 1996, 1998, 2000, 2002, 2004 Olympic Games;

B. - Elite Athletes who as members of their National Federation Shadow Team have the opportunity to be selected in the 2008 Australian Olympic Team
